It's True
He was not just a Dad, but also a best friend. After searching for the songs I wanted to record on this project I came across the title song, "It's True." It was just what I needed at the time. I have to thank Greg Bentley for bringing it my way. Thanks to Mark Colvin for the song " I Will Cast My PRaise." I have recorded quite a few songs about the prospect of heaven on this project. I long for the day that we will be able to meet our Saviour and cast our rewards at His feet. The last few months have been used to draw me closer to my Saviour. The closer you get to where He is, the more I am reminded that even though it is not time to cast our crowns, I can still cast my praise. I have spent much time just giving Him praise. I pray that all that will listen to this will first of all know Him who makes heaven possible and is deserving of our praise. That only comes when you know Christ as your personal Saviour. I also pray the songs of heaven will be an uplift and reminder that we are all just passing through this old world. Song List It's True (sample mp3) |
I am constantly amazed at how the Lord works in my life. Even in the midst of great sorrow there are blessings. One of the hardest things I have had to endure is the "home-going" of my father, Johnnie Gray.
